KipperTie Adapta E/PL Mount
Converting from native E mount to industry standard PL, Adapta E/PL is carefully designed with optical baffles and flare traps for optimal performance, and with consideration for Sony's specific optical characteristics.
The mount is optimised for strength and long life. Stainless steel and aerospace grade aluminium are used throughout. The PL mount is shimmable for accurate backfocus, and its internal mechanism is service adjustable for locking position to guard against wear.
Included is a robust support bracket engineered to match the FX3 and FX30 body size, allowing the PL mount to be tied rigidly to the camera and providing 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 fittings. Other E-mount cameras will require a universal mount support available separately.
The grippy PL mounting ring may optionally be augmented with a pair of grip tabs, each of which can be attached in a choice of positions to suit the user.
