The foam features a 17.8 cm inner depth and a standard hole diameter opening. It features an open-cell acoustic foam windscreen that offers up to 10 dB wind-noise attenuation and a synthetic-fur windjammer that offers up to 12 dB of wind-noise attenuation.
The foam windscreen slips over the microphone head. The windjammer slips over the foam. The combo is designed to keep high-frequency loss to a minimum while providing resistance against the effects of moisture and UV light.
